Our Company

The company was established with a clear purpose: to make communication systems accessible to many people, including those living in remote and difficult-to-reach areas.
Mission
NST works to extend reliable voice and data services across challenging terrain, helping individuals and communities stay connected. The Hello Nepal service was soft-launched on September 24, 2009, beginning with rural areas and 273 village development committees in the Mid Western Development Region.
On August 1, 2010, the company announced the expansion of its services from the Mid Western Development Region to all over Nepal, marking a significant step in national coverage.

| Pakistan Mobile Communication The brand operates with a clear focus on bringing mobile connectivity to populations that have historically been underserved by traditional infrastructure. By prioritizing rural and geographically challenging regions, the service aims to bridge long-standing gaps in access to basic communication tools. This approach reflects a broader commitment to inclusive telecommunications, where reach and reliability matter as much as urban coverage. Rather than concentrating only on densely populated centers, the network is designed to extend into communities where terrain and distance have posed obstacles for years, offering a practical way for people to stay in touch with family, markets, and essential services. A central pillar of the operation is the mission of connecting remote areas through dependable voice and data services. Mountainous landscapes, scattered settlements, and limited road networks have made conventional rollout difficult, so the company has tailored its approach to fit local realities. Field presence, localized support, and consistent signal quality are treated as core requirements rather than optional extras. This focus allows households, small businesses, and local institutions in harder-to-reach districts to participate more fully in everyday communication, education, and commerce that increasingly depend on mobile access. The company is guided by values that emphasize accessibility, resilience, and long-term presence in the markets it serves. Building infrastructure in remote terrain is only part of the challenge; maintaining it through seasonal changes, power variability, and growing subscriber demand requires sustained investment. Equally important is the relationship with subscribers, who rely on the network for routine contact as well as emergencies. By aligning technical planning with these everyday needs, the operator positions itself as a steady partner in regional development rather than a transient provider, reinforcing trust through consistent performance across diverse environments. Over time, the service has expanded its footprint while keeping its original rural orientation intact. Beginning with a limited number of village development committees, the network has gradually widened to encompass more communities, supported by phased infrastructure upgrades and broader distribution of devices and SIM-based products. Alongside voice, offerings such as short messaging, value-added information services, and basic data options have been introduced to meet changing usage patterns. This steady evolution reflects an understanding that connectivity is most useful when it evolves in step with the daily lives and economic activities of the people it serves. Looking ahead, the focus remains on strengthening coverage depth, improving service quality, and supporting digital inclusion across the country. As mobile communication becomes increasingly central to governance, healthcare access, and livelihood opportunities, the role of a dedicated rural operator grows in importance. Continued investment in sites, backhaul, and customer support structures is expected to accompany any further expansion. Through this combination of technical commitment and social purpose, the brand seeks to remain a recognized presence in Nepal’s telecommunications landscape, particularly for communities that depend on reliable connectivity the most. | Pakistan |
